There's No One Like You

Hi Stampers!
This week's challenge on StampinUpLNStampers group is to CASE a card from the current Stampin'Up catalog, but you must change at least two things about that card, AND make it kid friendly!

The card I chose to case is from page 126. The things I did differently to my card are: texturized the base card, changed the colors, added brads to the flowers, distressed the edges of my focal piece, and changed the greeting!

This card will be given to a special young lady! I know she will love it since I used her favorite colors!

Speaking of colors, my card also meets the current Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #14 found here.

Recipe

Stamps: Tart and Tangy, No One Like You from the Simply Sent Card Kit
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Lavender Lace
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Lavender Lace and Very Vanilla
Embellishments: 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in Melon Mambo, Rhinestone Brads, Distressing Tool, 1" and 3/4" circle punches, and a Big Shot Texturz plate.

It's Back To School week for us! We've had another amazing summer and once again, I am reminded of how blessed I am! I do enjoy working for the school district, so I can enjoy a summer off with my family! We had so much fun, but it's time to get back to work and dream about our next adventure! (It's coming up very soon! We are going to visit that new little girl in our lives.....precious little Clare Marie! Can't wait!)

Oooh! Love your layout and the layered flowers. THey remind me of some sort of sweet tropical fruit. Yum! Perfect for summer :)

This is adorable! I'm still waiting on my catalog (it takes a while to get stuff to Morocco!) But hopefully I will have it soon!
